| Saw Sharks play again last night, supporting Tribes, and it seems that the crowd knew most the words to the largely No Gods based set list.
The front of the crowd was pretty excited to see the lads play and even some decent pit movement.
Felt like the tables are starting to turn and they're getting more known / popular at last.
After their set finished the crowd started chanting the opening of Trains which was pretty cool to see happen. The guys didn't play that song though, sadly.
They definitely looked very comfortable on that size stage (I guess they're played far larger stages opening for Social D in America and some festivals already). It may take a couple of years and another album or 2 but I can definitely se them headlining the main downstairs Academy (not the side room like last night) if they carry on the way they are.
Tribes, started pretty strong and sounded far better than their overly glossy album but I got a bit bored during the middle and end of their set as they seemed to be doing the 'this is our pixies song' (Himalya... still a good song though), then 'this is our Clash song' (When Our Days Comes is straight up the I Fought The Law riff), followed by a Verve / Radiohead song. But this is just my opinion. Still an ace night and 2 decent bands for circa £12.

| Haha, nope sadly not. They don't seem to play More Blue much / if ever. I've not seen it live yet anyway as far as I can remember. As it's a more indie type song I thought they might have played it last night.
I'll try to remember the setlist...
Wonders Arcane Able It All Relates Fallen Patient Spider Sweet Harness No Gods
I think that's it. Maybe the order was slightly different(?)

Thanks. Can't wait to see them live again. I saw them open for Gaslight and ever since then i've been listening to them almost every day. Got loads of their vinyl (despite not owning a player) and love their T Shirts

They played More Blue when I saw them in Bristol on the headline tour, I think it was a one off though.

Was gutted not to go, I just love them, listened to them everyday. Got to get them down here for a gig. My old man organises a festival in Bodmin and we have Max Raptor headlining in July surely Sharks are better than them, he won't have it
