looking for..

hi there,
im new to the board. Ive been having a look around and it seems you have quite a nice community of people i hope someone can help me out.
Im looking for the usuals that are nigh on impossible to find these days: Show of Hands, Sweet Harness and Common Grounds vinyl. No particular pressings... as of yet. Ive trawled the 'net and im struggling a little. Anyone wishing to part with any of these or know where theres an unlikely magical store that might have something for sale please let me know. I know these are already rare as rocking horse doodoo and even more so as the band grow in popularity.

Its the grey version of Sweet Harness with the deer on, although if you did want it, you'd have to ask the seller if he is willing to ship outside of the US.

Sadly, as SL1210 says, they are all getting really hard to find, especially now that the guys are getting quite popular. I'll keep a look out for anything for you in the mean time

Flippin 'eck! Cheers guys. Much appreciated. Theres a couple there ive investigated to no avail. I emailed the guy on ebay about Sweet Harness (almost a week ago) and never got a reply. I ended up making an offer to see if that got his attention but no go. I also saw the ones on discogs and contacted the fella about Common Grounds to see if he may drop the price a little... again, no reply. Banquet used to be my local record stop (before i moved to Spain) and they've always been great and are putting the feelers out for me.

But ill be checking out the other links for sure, many many thanks once again. I feel honoured to be part of this awsome board.

Well ive just sent payment to the fella on eBay about the Sweet Harness /90... i just dropped £25 with shipping for that. A little more than i would normally allow myself to pay for a 7" but hes stating its mint, unplayed and its a rare one. Also i know id go back to my watchlist and it'll say "auction Ended" and then id be forever gutted. I have to justify these things to make myself feel better!!!!!

Dropped merch now an email about TJoL grey haze and CGs 7" and they havent gotten back to me other than to refund my pre order for No Gods stating that the tri-colour and Covers 7" should have been available outside of the bundle (pissed off big time). SO i went ahead and just ordered the 2, if they go through then great if not i guess i'll be getting a refund again.

Oh and thanks to SL1210. I PMd the guy about purple Shallow Waters. Awaiting his reply.

A white version of Sweet Harness came through the door yesterday, very sweet indeed and Common Grounds 7" (from that MerchNow link) is on its way (many thanks to SL1210 for the heads up!). Also contacted someone about the Northern Town splits and some test presses of that. Aces!

WOW that's a lot more than the £6 or so I paid for it. I really regret not buying a Show of Hands vinyl when it was easily available back in Oct 2010

However I did luck out massively and get TJoL deluxe package for £16.45 on the old 'bay. Still can't believe that one!

Haha, well what happened was this was like May last year? I was finishing my GCSEs so I my mum was going to bid on it in the day just before it ended (she works as a teacher). But her boss pulled her out to talk to her like 20 minutes before, and whatever they did lasted longer than 20 minutes so I missed it haha

Yeah it would have been at the end of May somewhere, my last day of school before half term.

No, they did just put it so it says out of stock though. I wish they did earlier! But you may have snagged the last one or something. I'd assume so if you haven't received an email like I did.

Oh right, yeah I guess I may have got the last one. It's annoying, I'd love to get a copy of Show of Hands/ Sweet harness 7", but they're near impossible to find now. I should have bought them when they were out haha
