That really is a bit but I went ahead and got it. I don't assume it will get any easier to find it as time goes on. Now all I need is a copy of Show of Hands and my collection will complete!

I too, mailed that guy about the Sharks/Northern Towns test press...offered a generous amount for it and he didn't even mail back...! This was over a month ago now. His loss.

I hope you're all well. Im actually going to reply to a few of the post prior, i didnt want to see there at quote 4/5 posts... sorry.

Theres a copy of the grey/white stag Sweet Harness on Discogs - http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=3405490&ev=rb its 20e but i think thats what they're going for these days. I paid 25$ post paid for mine. Also i saw a red version go for £11 on ebay a couple of days ago.

I actually managed to get hold of the Common Grounds 7" using that Merchnow link. when i originally started this thread... so its possible that i got the last one Wink

Ive also picked up a 1st (/100), 2nd (/40) press of Show of Hands 12" and a white/grey (/100) tJoL from a "private seller"... im not gonna say what i paid for them Embarassed

I also emailed my man about the splits/tests and he hasnt gotten back to me. Maybe if i keep hassling him he'll give in to just get rid of me. Whatch this space.

The best bet for people wanting those rare records is to be patient and keep your eyes open. Check discogs frequently, dont hold out for updates from them (they'll be gone before you receive them), save searches on ebay and have them sent to your phone (if possible). Also check sale/trade lists on vinyl forums. They are out there, just be patient and be prepared to pay a fair sum for them.

Im still after a 1st tri-colour of No Gods (mine was cancelled Mad

), so if anyone out there wants to part with theirs (HAHAHAHAAAAAAA!) please pm me.

It seems theres more of this variant flying about than the less limited red version.

will be taking a sharks discography photo when it arrives to add to the "Collection" thread!

I'd guess those /100 variants are worth circa £80+ on ebay (as a guess) already. Nice investment for the future when they get Gaslight Anthem huge.

Yeah, their vinyls are getting more expensive. I need a Show Of Hands vinyl, but it's impossible to find (except a £30 on discogs).

Try to do a deal on the discogs Show Of Hands vinyl. Maybe they'll lower the price by £5 ish(?)
I saw that one on there but it's the white silk print /60. I need the other /40 black version.
If you could get it for £25 ish then I think that would be ok / fair.
But I saw it's from Canada so the shipping will probably cost quite a bit.

I really like the new Gaslight Anthem!!!
I was a bit worried they were going to 'do a Kings Of Leon' and go kinda soft and advert / commercial friendly.
But it's a rocker! I like how initially it's a simple rock song with a catchy big chorus but when I read the lyrics it's actually pretty personal and meaningful.
I had pretty HUGE hopes and it's living up so far. Can't wait to hear the whole record now. Hopefully it will leak early (I'll buy every variant they release on vinyl).

It arrived! Unfortunately they had made a mistake and it is infact the red/blue haze variant. It was too good to be true. I guess ill just have to wait a little longer... watch this space.

Anyone got the red Show Of Hands (black screenprint) /40 ?

Hey guys, turns out I've got a little road trip coming up real soon so I could use all the cash I can get. I'm looking to sell my Red/Clear/Blue wedge copy of No Gods. I've only played it a couple times because I ended up buying the final green press, so the vinyl it's self along with the jacket are in mint condition.
