| Really great album title.
And good to know the track listing too. And the permanent bass replacement.
What's interesting is also what's missing from the track listing, not least 'Love and Fear', but also the two leaked demos that briefly appeared on YouTube and then got pulled (though the songs could have been re-titled).
As for 'Love and Fear', maybe its good that this can remain a live favourite and that the albums instead provides fresh material (I think only 'Arcane Effigies' and 'No Gods' have premiered live in 2011).
Here's to 2012! | |

"On A Clear Day You Can See Yourself" are the first lyrics of "Tick Tick Tocking" (One of the leaked demos), So I'm guessing it developed in that way. Maybe 'Love and Fear' has also been re-titled like you said I hope so, anyway!

I read on SHARKS facebook a few weeks back that Love & Fear would not be on the album, so they've either not recorded it or did record it and renamed it or have left it as a B-side? (14 songs were recorded) On A Clear Day You Can See Yourself was debuted live at the Moo Bar back in April, along with Arcane Effigies, it seemed to be quite a fast song, but saying that, some bands speed up songs they play live. No Gods was played at The Social (also with Arcane Effigies). Either way, I am so looking forward to this album, roll on the preorders!

| In 'Tick Tick Tocking' (one of the demos posted that were pulled down), the opening lyrics are ''On a clear day, you can see yourself...''. Do you think this is an early version of the song of that name?
Also, this is an acoustic version of 'What Entails', which is on the album

| Does anyone know what happened to the track called "Sons and Daughters" I heard the band talk about it in one of the Radio 1 sessions but I don't think it was played? | |

Well, it's either been recorded and renamed or recorded and is being used as a B-side or its not been recorded at all!

Same here! From what the boys were saying vinyl wise - they were choosing the 'colours' the other week...I think there will be 4 colours, just like TJoL

| I love the idea of loads of variations but I just can't afford them all! I'll be going to the most limited. | |

I know what you mean. I'm saving up from christmas and working overtime, so that i'll be able to afford the shipping of the US version, cause its damn expensive!

Yep, I'll just choose a nice rare one which will look good on my wall! Hopefully I will have enough for some sort of deluxe bundle, as I'm assuming they'll do one.

| Remember that great poster by El Jefe that came with the deluxe pre-order of TJoL?
This is what El Jefe just had to say on Facebook:
"So the new Sharks album is f'n amazing."
Yeah! | |

| Nice one! I'm curious to know what different colours of vinyl there will be though.
I've checked MerchNOW & Banquet Records and they both don't have any preorders up yet.

| Here's the artwork: It looks like fabric; very clever, but I had hoped for something more standout, like the photo of James with his black eye and the Sharks logo over that. I thought with a first album they would have really wanted to puch the logo. | |

| I actually really like it! I think that on the vinyl (and possibly the cd cover) the words and fabric bit will be embossed or something, therefore making it really stand out.

Tell me about it! I've preordered it anyway, but only because I ordered a few more things that I can't get over here...so although its expensive, I guess cause i've ordered a few things, it has offset the cost a bit..
